The protest, organised by the Hellenic Thought and Action Council, has been warned to begin at 5: 00 a.m., at Zahir Pajaziti Square in Pristina.

Organisers have called on citizens to join the mobilization, stressing that the protests will continue until the fulfillment of their justice requirements for Arlinda Zekaj and all murdered women, as well as ensuring the safety of women facing violence.

Among the main demands of protesters is the treatment of childicide as national emergency, the dismissal of Justice Minister Donika Grovall, and Interior Affairs Minister Jelal Svecla, as well as the investigation and prosecution of institutional officials allegedly neglecting the Zekij case.

Also, protesters seek to consider the responsibility of justice institutions officials, police and the Centre for Social Affairs if it is found that they have not met their legal obligations in handling the case.

Another requirement is to ensure social residence for domestic violence survivors, as well as to create more effective institutional mechanisms for protecting women at risk.

In recent days, protests and marches in search of justice for Arlinda Zeqaj are also being organised in Peja, Mitrovica, Ferizaj and Istog.

Protesters demand that the case not only remain a call for justice but be followed with concrete responsibilities and institutional changes for preventing similar cases.
