Kosovo Statistics Agency ( The AKS has published data on the Agricultural Products and Prices Index for the third quarter of 2026, where a slight increase in prices compared to the same period last year is recorded.
According to the AKS, the overall index of agricultural products prices in the third quarter of this year has marked 1.4 percent growth, compared to the TM3 of 2025.
Growth is recorded both in plant and animal products. The price index of plant products has increased by 0.1 percent, while that of livestock products is 3.1 percent.
The data is collected in markets, farms and other countries where local agricultural products are traded.
Plant products include cereals, foraging plants, vegetables, potatoes, and trees. Meanwhile, livestock products include animals such as cattle, sheep, pigs, and chickens, as well as products such as milk, eggs, and honey.
The AKS has made it known that prices are estimated in euros, while the measures used are kilograms, liter and pieces.
