Ferizaj Regional Police have launched a preventative campaign to increase traffic security during the autumn season, with the motto “Pak slower, much safer!”
The campaign, entitled Wet Streets and Frosting, will last from November 2026 to February 2027. It aims to awareness drivers and other traffic participants of the dangers of rainfall, fog, frost, and snow.
In the context of this initiative, information activities, advice for drivers, prevention checks, and school lectures and educational institutions will be organised.
The activities will be held in Ferizaj, Kacanik, Shktime, Shtrpce and Elezi’s Han, in co-operation with road communications expert Xhemil Halili.
Police appeal drivers to adjust speed to road conditions, maintain safety distance, control the technical state of vehicles, and show increased caution to pedestrians.
