The ombudsman’s office will have a team in office today during the second round of early elections for the head of the Brvenica municipality to accept complaints by citizens for possible violation of voting rights.

As the ombudsman reported, the regional office in Tetovo will be open from 7am to 19 pm – during the voting period so that citizens can report any violation of voting rights. Reports can be delivered personally to the office or calling 044/344-082.

The ombudsman informs that he will protect citizens’ rights by taking urgent measures for effective action by competent authorities in the election process and other institutions responsible for protecting guaranteed rights.

The announcement recalls that the vote’s right is constitutionally guaranteed as an equal, general, and direct right exercised in the elections by the secret vote.

They stress that no one should be held responsible for exercising his right to vote, while remembering that violations of the freedom of election of voters and other violations of voting rights are punishable acts.
