After winning parliamentary elections in Serbia, activists have continued the action on removing promotional and divisive graphs from the walls of buildings in Belgrade.

A day after a graph of insulting content against Albanians, using the derogatory term “Shiptar” has been covered today by the inscription “Kadka na Kosovo killed” (When the army returns to Kosovo)

Today’s event on Sremska Street, downtown Belgrade, was launched by activist Miodrag Kapor, along with his associates. He said the shares are continuing even after the elections, now in safer conditions.

Graffiti when the military returns to Kosovo has long been criticised for its nationalist and threatening message. A continuation with threatening content of Albanians has been used in other versions of this slogan.

The annulment of the inscription prompted reactions on social networks, where some users offended and threatened the activist.

Shares against hate graphs are being held at an important political moment in Serbia, following the victory of the student movement in the 26 October parliamentary elections.

However, the student movement’s attitude towards Kosovo remains nationalist, as it considers Kosovo part of Serbia. /Telegraphy/
