A great era in Portuguese football seems to be coming to an end. Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s retirement from international football, Bernardo Silva is expected to take over Portugal’s national captain’s tape.
The midfielder is expected to assume responsibility to lead the Portuguese representative, inheriting the role Ronaldo had for many years.
The Portuguese star was the national’s main figure for a long time, while it is already expected to start a new chapter, with Bernardo leading a new generation of Portuguese football players.
