Journalist Parim Oluri has criticised recent developments in the Kosovo Police, saying reforms in this institution should start with the departure of Interior Minister Jedal Svecla.
Oluri in Pressing has estimated that current developments in police do not constitute reform, but, according to him, are being exploited by power to oust officials who do not consider politically close and replace them with their people.

What is happening in the Kosovo Police has nothing to do with reform. If it were reform, the first man to leave would be Jelal Svechla. You can’t reform when the man who’s been in charge of the police hasn’t been punished, Oluri has declared.
He has also criticised the way he, according to him, the case of Arlinda Zekaj is being handled, charging that he is exploiting this opportunity to place his people in positions and to remove those who do not perform political services.
Take the case of Arlinda Zekiaj and use it so vilely to decide your men and send out those who don’t do party work, it’s humiliating, Oluri said.
