JOrge Martín failed to complete the return to the track during Malaysia’s Grand Prize, after being forced to withdraw from the race in Sepang due to the pain of the right wrist.

The Spaniard is being recovered from an unremitting fracture that he suffered after the crash in the Sprent race at Phillip Island, Australia.

Despite receiving medical permission to race and trying to return to the runway, Martín failed to exert the necessary strength during the setback. Thus, April decided not to risk the pilot further and confirmed his withdrawal from the weekend to Malaysia.

The next target is Qatar’s Grand Prize, but its participation has not yet been confirmed.

Meanwhile, following Marc Márquez’s victory in Sepang, Martín has acknowledged that his chances for title are virtually complete.
