Riyad Isufi, 29, of Pristina, who has been mentioned in several previous reports of the Signal Gazette, has again ended in Kosovo Police in handcuffs this time under suspicion of involvement in at least 14 cases of serious theft in the capital, the Signal newspaper reports exclusively.
Signal sources suggest that Isufi was arrested on Saturday, November 7th, at around 8:00, in an operation conducted by the capital’s investigators.
According to information provided by the signal, the 29-year-old was interviewed in a total of 14 cases of serious theft, of which 11 were handled by the Central Police Station and three others by the South Police Station.
During the interview, in the presence of the defense attorney, Isufi has used his legal right to defend in silence.
After completing the police procedures, with the prosecution’s decision, he was sent to the detention.
Previous cases reported by the signal
Riyad Isufi is not an unknown name for signal Gazette reports. In November 2025, he was identified as one of the two people suspected of stealing four Tuna Mare’s Tuna compounds at a market of the SOper VivaA network, on the street of CHAhaji Zeka’ in Pristina.
According to the report of the time, stolen products were worth 23.16 euros, while Isufi and the other suspected person were arrested by police.
In July 2026, the signal reported that Isufi had been arrested along with Megzon Sephedin, under suspicion of attacking three people in Mazgi and having damaged their car. The event took place on June 25th, while the three injured received medical treatment at KKUK.
Procedure for criminal acts had been initiated against them, in terms of slight bodily access and disaster or property damage, while both had been sent to hold for 48 hours.
Meanwhile, in October of this year, Isufi was again reported by the signal for an incident with police in Pristina.
On October 18th, about 23:35, on the street of Ally Vititaão, police units had banned an Audi A3 car, which included Isufi.
During the search, he allegedly attempted to flee police officials, running toward the Victoria Circle. During the departure, according to information provided by the signal, he had thrown an axe carrying it to the ground.
Police had managed to arrest him after the prosecution, while during the arrest he allegedly resisted and had shown aggressive behaviour. Even after he got into the police vehicle, he started hitting the mosque, causing self – injury, which required emergency team intervention.
The axe was seized as material evidence, while procedure for criminal work had been initiated in possession, control, or unauthorized possession of weapons.
Investigations into the last 14 cases of serious theft are continuing.
