The chairman of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Mufti Naim Eph. Ternava is participating in the Haxhi International Fair and Conference, which has started works in the town of Gide, Saudi Arabia.
Mufti Ternava, accompanied by his associates, is representing the Islamic Community of Kosovo at this international event, which is held under the slogan “From Mecca to the world.
The four-day conference is held under the auspices of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and is organised by the Ministry of Haxhi and Umres of Saudi Arabia, in co-operation with the Service for Guests and Merciful.
Over 520 local and international institutions and organisations are participating in the event, with representatives from more than 150 countries around the world.
The fair aims to create opportunities for co-operation among institutions responsible for organising Hadzi, religious authorities and service providers, with the goal of improving conditions for believers who perform this religious ritual.
Mufti Ternava’s participation is estimated to be an opportunity for strengthening co-operation between the Islamic Community of Kosovo and relevant institutions in Saudi Arabia, as well as to be known by innovations in organising and managing services for the pilgrimages.
