A checkpoint in the Prizren/Gjakovi magistrate has ended with a case of narcotics possession, as police have encountered a person allegedly consuming marijuana. When he realized that there were police officials in front of him, 33-year-old Rahoveci told them he even owned cigarettes wrapped in suspected narcotic substances.
Signal Gazette sources suggest this is about Arlind Limamenra, 33, who was detained on Saturday, October 31, about 16:35, in the village of Piran, Prizren.
According to information provided by the signal, the patrol of the Prizren Road Communications Unit was conducting control in magistrates, when it encountered in Limamena by consuming a substance suspected of marijuana.
Once he realized that the people in front of him were policemen, he claimed he owned two and a half cigarettes with suspected narcotics substance of marijuana.
The suspect has told police officials that he was a marijuana user and that he was consuming it even at the moment of control.
A patrol of the North Police Station in Prizren has also been engaged at the scene, which has accompanied the suspect for further procedures.
During the case’s treatment, police have seized 3.2 grams of suspected narcotic substance, which was allegedly marijuana.
After interviewing and consulting with the State Prosecutor, Limamera has been released in regular procedure.
The case has been initiated for the criminal work, unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotrope and analogue substances, while investigations are under way by the appropriate drug unit in Prizren.
