Hazir Berisha from the village of Shkaba i Drenas has joined the Kosovo Security Force ( The KSF), continuing the family tradition of service to the country and inheriting the name of its grandfather, Kosovo Hero, Haziri Berisha.

Grown in a family of history closely linked to the fight for Kosovo’s freedom, Berisha has already worn the KSF uniform, launching a new chapter in his professional life.

He is the grandson of Kosovo Hero, Haziri Berisha, whose name he proudly bears, as well as the son of veteran Kosovo Liberation Army ( U ndo CK), Arsim Berisha.

As the family’s eldest son Berisha, Haziri represents the third generation of a family whose story is related to the struggle for freedom and service to Kosovo.

His union with the KSF marks a symbolic continuation among generations, from the sacrifice of grandfather and his contribution during the war, to his commitment to the country’s security institution.

For the Berisha family and its homeland, Shhaba (former-Glanase), this is a special moment, as Haziri starts his journey into the KSF uniform, with the aim of serving the Republic of Kosovo.
