Movement V ENVENTION! has reached agreement in principle on announcing the domestic election process, following a meeting with the heads of its centres in Kosovo and in the exile.
At the meeting held at the Movement’s central office, its chairman, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, organising secretary Alim Rama, centre co-ordinator Salih Zyba and members of Central Headship, participated.

According to the VV’s announcement, during the meeting the current political situation, institutional developments, governance priorities and party political and organisational commitments for the upcoming period were discussed.
Kurti thanked organisational structures, centre management, activists and membership in Kosovo and in exile for their work and dedication.
Their engagement, from each neighbourhood and village, to every municipality in Kosovo and throughout our exile, has been and remains one of the main pillars of the political and organisational force of the Movement V. It says on notice.
According to the VV, its responsibilities in the coming period are related to institutional work, implementation of programming pledges and advancing reforms.
With the consolidation of the Republic institutions, our goals and responsibilities are clear, daily work, honest and unspoiled in the service of citizens, implementation of our programming commitments and advancing reforms that empower the state, develop the economy and improve the welfare of citizens, the report says.
An important part of the meeting was dedicated to internal organisational issues, especially the process of domestic elections. After discussions with central leaders and members of Headship, we agreed in principle to declare this process.
In the announcement, domestic elections are described as an important democratic process for restoring and empowering party structures.
These are the possibilities for stronger organisational mobilization, for expanding membership, for advancing frameworks, and for strengthening the movement’s direct connection with citizens at every level of organisation, the announcement says.
The VV emphasises that it aims to strengthen its centres in municipalities through this process and prepare for future political commitments, especially at the local level.
Our citizens need local governance that puts public interest on narrow interests, that brings equal development, quality services, transparency and accountability, the announcement said.
In conclusion, Movement V THE goal of strengthening organization and increasing commitment to the service of citizens has been highlighted.
Stronger organisation, greater commitment, and more work for citizens, in every municipality of the Republic, in every village neighborhood, concludes the announcement.
