Kosovo Judiaster Laura Fazliu has failed to secure the qualifications at the Grand Slam final in Abu Dhabi, after being defeated in the semifinals by Poland’s representative Angelika Szymanska.
However, the medal still remains in Fazliu’s goals, which will have another opportunity to fight for a seat on the podium of this prestigious international race.
We remember that the trip to Abu Dhabi’s Grand Slam, Laura started on vacation in the first round, while in the second round, she was defeated by Portuguese Waszaari Joanna Chrysostomo.
In the quarterfinals, Kosovo’s jungle showed its strength by triumphing with the Ippon against local Tsendbazar Mashbat, a result that provided a seat among the four best jungles of the category.
Currently, in front of her in the fight for bronze medal will be Croatian Iva Oberan.
Fazliu will aim to leave losing in the semifinals behind and finish the race in Abu Dhabi with medals for Kosovo.
