Serbian pro-government television editor Dragan J. Vuciqevic, interrupted the programme to respond to the news that the Public Prosecutor’s High Commission is looking into the circumstances of Milan Radojici’s failure to prevent after the terror attack on Kosovo Banjska.
News published by the Nova portal that the case against controversial businessman Milan Radoicic, the top man to organise the armed attack on Banjska, is under the scrutiny of the Public Prosecutor’s High Commission, prompted immediate reaction on Informer television.

The chief editor of this medium, Dragan J. Wukcikuvik stopped reading the news, which he described as shocking.
He later interpreted the case’s review as an attempt to arrest Radojici, presenting him as a Serbian hero.
In essence, let me translate it into Serbian. They want to arrest Serbian hero Milan Radociqi. Today we’re all Milan Radojcik. Today they arrest him, tomorrow we’re gonna be arrested, Vucinekjek said.
His reaction included Deputy Dejan Vukeliq, who claimed the developments constitute a clear sign that Kosovo is being recognised.
According to Nova, the High Public Prosecutor’s Commission, consisting of five members, is also reviewing the decision through which Radoic was not sent to custody after questioning the High Public Prosecutor in Belgrade over the armed conflict in Banjska.
Special attention is being given to circumstances in which his detention was not required, despite the seriousness of the actions he suspected.
The Serbian portal, Nova, had reported earlier that prosecutor Nikola Panteliq, who has already advanced to the position of chief prosecutor at the Public High Prosecutor’s Office in Pancevo, had only mentioned the risk of escaping as the circumstances that could undermine the procedure.
According to this report, the prosecutor was not based on three other circumstances that could justify detention: the risk of repeating criminal acts, the possible impact on witnesses and public concern. Why these circumstances were not included in the detention requirement is also expected to be part of the Commission’s review.
Radoiciqi and the Banjska attack
Following the armed attack on Banjska, on September 24, 2023, Milan Radojic took responsibility for organising the armed group.
After questioning the High Public Prosecutor in Belgrade, the prosecutor had demanded that the detention measures be appointed against him for up to 30 days.
It was also mentioned that Radoiciq occasionally stood outside his residence for more than 90 days without reporting it.
Already, reviewing the decision on his failure to pre-empt him has prompted reactions in the Serb pro-government media, where Vuciciq presented the development as a threat not only to Radojici, but also to others who support it.
Kosovo has accused Serbia of standing behind the attack, while official Belgrade has denied those charges.
Of the 45 people charged with Kosovo’s justice for the attack on Banjska, three have been convicted. Other indictees, including Radociqi, continue on the run and are believed to be in Serbia.
Kosovo has issued several warrants for the arrest of Radojici, who is under sanctions from the United States and Great Britain for links to international organised crime. / The GeoPost
