Barcelona has returned to the victories after two consecutive losses, triumphing with a deep score of 6:1 over Deportivo Alavés at the Camp Nouú, in a match showing Lamine Yamal and Raphael.
Both football players made two goals, while Fermín López and Anthony Gordon contributed one goal to the Catalans’ convincing victory.
After the fine performance, the attention also attracted the replacement of Lamine Yamal about 20 minutes before the end of the meeting. Despite the two goals scored, Coach Hansie Flick decided to move him out of the field to manage the physical load.
When you score two goals, it’s easier to get out of the field, the German coach said in humor after the match.
Flick explained that he had talked to the Spanish talent during the pause between the two parts, stressing the importance of restoring confidence and the need not overload by minutes.
For us it was important that he restore self – confidence in situations one against one. It was good to play in the second part, but at the same time it is important to have fewer minutes standing, he said.
Coach also praised the team’s overall response following losses to P SG and Real Madrid, saying that’s exactly what he wanted from his footballers.
Barcelona now has its attention to future challenges, where it aims to continue with positive results in both the local and European races.
