Mediators from Qatar have submitted a new draft agreement Sunday to Iran to end the war with the United States and Israel. According to an official informed of the negotiations, Tehran is expected to respond to the proposal by the end of this week.
The new draft envisions a seven-day deadline for addressing Iran and Washington’s concerns. During this period, the two sides will have to take daily steps to build confidence, the official said.

The process could begin early next week, while some states are expected to serve as guarantors of the agreement, the Telegrafi broadcast.
Qatar and Pakistan have led diplomatic efforts to end the war, launched in February by the US and Israel.
The conflict has stopped shipping and global oil supplies, while it has spread to other parts of the Middle East.
Ahead of Sunday’s meeting in Tehran, there were concerns that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is trying to secure another mandate in general elections, could order the resumption of attacks on Iran this week, according to the official informed of the negotiations.
On Friday, US President Donald Trump reiterated threats of new attacks on Iran. Meanwhile, Iranian security officials told Reuters that Tehran had drafted detailed plans to attack underwater cables in the Persian Gulf, should the US and Israel resume attacks.
Previous diplomatic efforts helped reach a temporary peace agreement in June, but it was broken up in a short time.
Over the past few weeks, even the Jethi rebels in Yemen, linked to Iran, have carried out repeated attacks on Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest crude oil exporters.
Recent developments have added concerns about regional security and the stability of global energy supplies. /Telegraphy/
