MPs from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Ismaili Bridge and Tsmman Rama, have held talks with Kosovo Police officials on opening the Skenderbeu Square in Pristina for protesters.

After the negotiations, the entry of protesters to the square has been enabled, where citizens are seeking approval of legal changes related to the protection of former Kosovo Liberation Army members.

Meanwhile, The PDK has reacted to the Kosovo Police intervention during the protest, condemning the use of force against protesters.

The party has called for halting, as it has described, non-professional interventions and respect for the right to protest.

The PDK has also asked for responsibility from the government, claiming that security institutions should not be used for political purposes or for the crackdown on citizens’ protest.

During the developments in the protest have been reportedly injured, including protesters and members of the Kosovo Police. The number and situation of all injured have been made public in separate reports by relevant institutions. /Telegraphy.
