The City of Skopje Inspectorate, in co-operation with the State Market Inspectorate, Food and Veterinary Agency and the Centre’s municipality Inspectorate yesterday, conducted a co-ordinated action at several locations in the capital.

During the action, illegal street vendors were removed in the vicinity of the Clinical Centre, Green Market and Bunjakec.

From the City of Skopje, they say the goal of controls is to establish municipal order, prevent illegal trade and protect public spaces.

We will not allow the usurpation of public spaces and the exploitation of them for illegal sales, the City of Skopje stress.
Authorities warn that co-ordinated checks will continue in the coming period.
