Shares of Elon Musk’s companies, Tesla and SpaceX, have marked a decline after the mid-term election results in the United States, where the Democrats secured victories against the republics.
According to the Nasdaq 100 index data, Tesla’s stock has dropped by 2,80 per cent, while SpaceX’s by 2.37 per cent.

The decline comes at a time when investors are expressing concerns about the possibility of more strict surveillance of Musk companies, as well as the impact that election results may have on the plans to join Tesla and SpaceX.
Musk, one of the US President Donald Trump’s closest allies, had invested large sums to support republican candidates during the election campaign.
The democrats’ victory represents a political blow to Musk and Trump, while recent developments have intensified the uncertainty about the American billionaire’s business future.
