After the Assembly of the Parliament’s Headship, Haxhiu has announced that the Commission for Legislation is commissioned to address the issue and has four weeks to examine all aspects before the Parliament is directed.

She has said that, given the Constitutional Court’s act and the Assembly Order, the return of the law constitutes veto of the president.

And in this case, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo should vote for or against. So the role of the Assembly at this point is whether there will be a law change or not, Haxhiu has declared.

She has warned that the president’s letter will be made public by Parliament if it is not already published.

I’ve had the impression that the President’s letter was made public, if not, then we’ll take over as the Parliament, because we have nothing to hide. We’ll take it as a place to publicize it and then see it as such to the President’s Book, she said.

Haxhiu has added that, according to her reading, the letter refers to the Kosovo Parliament’s declaration and the PDK parliamentary group’s request for the return of the law in third reading.
