MPB Macedonia reports that yesterday (05.11,2026) from 0900 to 1600, the Department of Road Traffic Security in SPB Skopje conducted a reinforced search in the traffic sector with particular emphasis on taking measures for violations committed by truck drivers as overloaders, improperly placed cargo, technically defective trucks, etc.

During the search, 43 drivers of goods vehicles were sanctioned, of which a measure was designed for a technically defective vehicle (incompatible control), two sanctions for overload overload, six measures for not maintaining adequate equipment, seven sanctions for defective lighting equipment, nine measures for unmarked speed restrictions, a sanction for running an inappropriate-class cargo vehicle, a measure for failure to prevent a ban by a police officer was imposed, and 16 other types of sanctions for other types of error.

Traffic controls will continue in the coming days. We call on all traffic participants to respect traffic regulations and regulations and all contribute to safer roads, the MPB says.
