Barcelona is preparing a 25m-euro bid for the transfer of Andrea Cambisos from Juventu, as coach Hansi Flick and sports director Deco see Italian as the necessary reinforcement for the left-hand wing of defence.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Catalan club aims to transfer the Italian defender to replace Alejandro Balden, who is expected to leave Barcelona in the transitional term of January, after losing the country to Flick’s plans.

However, Juvenus is not willing to allow Cambiasos’ removal for less than 40m euros, creating a significant gap between the assessment of the two clubs.

Barcelona particularly appreciates the range of Italian footballer, who can play in some positions in defence arms. For this reason, Catalan leaders are considering the possibility that Balden will be included in the deal as part of the exchange in order to reduce the financial gap between the two clubs.

Balde, 23, has fallen into the hierarchy of the left-hand defenders at Barcelona, and has recently taken minutes mainly because of his fellow players’ injuries.

According to the report, during the summer he was told that he was not among the priority election of technical staff, so the parties had discussed the possibility of an escape in the middle of the season, provided the club secured a decent replacement.

On the other hand, Juvenus ‘ leaders rely on the contract by Cambiasos, which is valid until June 2029.

The club from Turin has no reason to rush for the sale of a football player, which is an important part of the formation, unless it receives an offer allowing it to invest in a suitable replacement. /Telegraph/
