Demhasa is appointed co-ordinator for domestic violence cases at Pec Prosecution

Prosecutor Ermal Demhaja co-ordinator for cases of domestic violence has been appointed taskperson of the Pajja chief prosecutor Valbona Disa-Hajoya.

According to the prosecution’s announcement, Demhaja is assigned to the task for an indefinite period.

This decision has been taken within the framework of internal organisation and co-ordination of work in this institution, following the appointment of Disa-Hagjosa in the position of chief prosecutor’s office by the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.

On Monday, Disa-Hajoya has held meetings with all the prosecutors of this prosecutor, who have been asked to boost commitment and vigilance in the exercise of duties, especially during the custody.

It has stressed the importance of the timely response and professional treatment of each case, pledging it will provide support and co-operation to prosecutors.

Disa-Hajoya has also met with the prosecutor’s administrative staff, which has called for greater commitment, respect for legal provisions and professional fulfillment of tasks, with the aim of avoiding eventual concessions and increasing efficiency at work.

It has stressed that co-operation, institutional responsibility and co-ordination among employees are important for fulfilling the prosecution’s legal mandate.
