Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has hosted a meeting of US National Guard General General Stephen E. Osborn.

Kurti said she thanked her for the excellent co-operation and continued support in the process of transforming the KSF, modernising and building its capacities.

The dual partnership of our Republic, with Iowa as one and the United States of America as a whole. We are grateful for the valuable and beneficial support of the National Guard of this American state for the Kosovo Security Force, focused on professional training, military education and leadership, and operational and logistics planning.

We discussed our first, extremely important steps in developing the defence industry, as well as the security situation in the country and the region, and agreed to the key role of the Republic of Kosovo in the stability of the Western Balkans. )
