The Democrats are expected to take control of both chambers of the US Congress, Senate and House of Representatives, according to CNN’s projections following the Muslim elections held on November 3rd.

In the Senate, the Democrats have secured 51 seats, versus 39 Republicans, reaching the most necessary to take control of this House of Congress.

The Democrats have won six seats from the Republicans, while 34 of their seats and 31 of the Republicans were not in the race in this election.

Even in the House of Representatives, Democrats are on their way to get the majority. By the time the graphic was published, they had secured 165 seats, while the Republicans 101.

The Democrats have won 10 seats from the Republicans, while to secure the majority in the House of Representatives is needed at least 218 out of a total of 435 seats.
