– What? And the auspices of the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka Pula, was held in traditional parties — Lama’s handska.
On this occasion, in a word before those present, Shiroka Pula said that Lama’s dinner is a tradition that links the earth with man, work with gratitude, and home to friend.

She further said that in Albanian tradition, the completion of the harvest and gathering of the Bereqeti marked a special moment, adding that after months of work in the fields, families and neighbours gathered around a joint table to express gratitude for the fruits of work.
President Shiroka Pula stressed that the tradition reminds us that the grapefruit is not only the land’s fruit and beat of the farmer, it is also solidarity among people and the open heart of the house.
According to her, in Albanian tradition, the master’s house is also the home of a friend, so she added, the table table is an expression of hospitality, while the bread shared with others testifies to respect and trust in man, which is the value of the Lama Evening Meal.
President Shiroka Pula said that in 2002, President Ibrahim Rugova turned this tradition into an institutional level, adding that this holiday is a symbol of thanks for Kosovo soil and its people.
Finally, President Shiroka Pula said that let us keep the Lama Evening Meal alive and the values it represents – gratitude, solidarity, hospitality, and respect for the work of our people.
