Regarding agreement reached today between Albania and the International Stabilisation Force ( The ISF has reacted to the Peace Board, stressing that it envisions additional support for security operations and the mission’s operations planning capacities in Gaza.
The announcement stresses that Albania’s contribution adds to Kosovo and Morocco’s. These contributions are considered important for advancing governance, security, humanitarian efforts, rule of law and reconstruction of Gaza.
Albania has signed the official agreement today with the Peace Board for participation in the International Stabilisation Force in Gaza.
The signing ceremony has been held in Albania’s General Staff facilities of Armed Forces.
According to the Albanian Defence Ministry, the agreement is signed by Army Forces Chief General Staff General Arben Kigghi, and ISF Commander Major General Yasper Jeffers.
Albanian Defence Minister Ermal Nufi attended the ceremony, as were US Ambassador to Tirana Eric Wendt.
