Lawyer Adelina Hoxha, who now represented the most recent Arlinda Zeqaj in issues related to domestic violence and the dispute over her child, has led serious charges against institutions following her assassination in Vitomirica in Pec.
In a statement to Telegrafi, Hoxha has said that responsibility for this tragedy should be seen not only through the suspected author of the assassination but also through the way institutions handled Arlinda’s requests for help.

I could be told briefly that the state killed him. Prosecutor S.H.E. has ordered his duty, Hoxha has indicated to Telegrafi.
Lawyer Hoxha had prepared a 14-page disciplinary complaint in the quality of the authorised representative Arlinda Zekaj.
The complaint had been addressed to the chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Pec and had to deal with a case involving the victim’s minor son.
In the document, the lawyer had called for disciplinary investigation into claims involving effective non-invisibility of office, serious professional negligence and failure to take necessary measures to protect the child’s best interest.
According to claims filed in the complaint, there were concerns about the manner of interviewing minors, the potential impact on his statements, and the lack of sufficient actions for providing evidence.
Hoxha had also sought verification of the prosecutor’s actions, communications with police investigators and the way evidence was handled that could help clarify circumstances.
One of the major concerns was related to the images of security cameras that the lawyer had asked to verify in time, given the risk of losing or deleting them.
The case of Arlinda Zekiaj’s murder has sparked numerous reactions, especially after publishing the letter that the deceased had addressed to the Founding Prosecutor in Pec on October 22nd, just three days before he was killed. In it, it required urgent intervention by institutions and expressed concern for its security.
The lawyer had shown earlier the fear that Arlinda had expressed about her life and the despair she experienced because of her separation from her son.
After the assassination, Hoxha had reacted publicly, saying Arlinda had begged her to do everything for her because she could not imagine life without her son.
But no, Arlinda was killed by the state, and she wrote in her public response. /Telegraphy/
