Kosovo Assembly MP Alban Asllani from the Multiethnic Group, in his speech to the Parliament’s folk, has stressed that the focus should be on preventing tragedies and not just the post-probating discussions.
Today, as deputy of this Parliament, I want to speak first as a parent, a parent of three boys I raise in my home, Aslan said, referring to the tragic murder of Arlinda.

He stressed that justice should say its word, while institutions should take responsibility and clarify any circumstances, action or possible inaction.
But I want to treat this subject a little differently today. I want to ask a question about where the truth of our responsibility begins as a society? Does it start at the police station, the prosecutor, the court, or does it start much earlier than that? Within our families, where we are born, grow up, and form ourselves?
Aslan said that, along with institutional reform and laws, special importance is the formation of people working in institutions that start in family and society.
Institutions, objects, buildings and laws are more, but people working in those institutions bear the responsibility of implementing all those mechanisms, the MP stressed.
He underlined that responsibility for education and social formation does not rule out the legal responsibility of the state. The state has the obligation to protect citizens with life, and no one can hide behind an education or after a mentality I mentioned earlier, Aslan concluded.
