The tragic murder of Arlinda Zekiaj in Pec, which shocked public opinion, has allegedly been used as reference to a death threat to another woman. A resident of the village of Kotradic has denounced her husband, who, according to her statement, has referred to the murder of Arlinda, saying that it would be even easier for her to kill because she was her husband.
Signal Journal sources suggest the case was denounced on October 31st at the Police Station in Pec, while the threat allegedly occurred the previous day, October 30th, in the village of Kotradzic.
According to information from the signal, the A.P. victim. 39 years old has claimed she was returning from the dentist together with her husband, U.S.J. Forty-seven years old, when they started a verbal fight.
It was during this voice that her husband reportedly addressed in the words:
)Arlinda was murdered by her brother-in-law, and I’m easy to be your husband and I’ll kill you.Oh.
These are the words that the woman claims to have heard from her husband, thus linking her threat to crime that she had shocked Peja a few days earlier.
But, according to her statement, problems in marriage had not begun with this incident.
The woman has indicated before investigators that she and her husband had continued disagreements and that on May 30, 2025, she had reported a case of domestic violence to the police.
The couple have a five – year – old daughter and lived in a marriage community in Kotradiq.
The latest prejudice has been dealt with by police with the involvement of a social worker and a psychologist in whose presence the victims were interviewed.
Meanwhile, the husband was invited to the Péja Police Station, where he appeared and interviewed in the quality of the suspect.
After reviewing the case, the prosecution has ordered the initialisation of investigations into the criminal work ãoCanosya in context of domestic violence, as well as the detention of the suspect for 48 hours.
The woman, after completing the procedures, has willingly left for her parents ‘ home.
Investigations continue to clear up the suspect’s circumstances and eventual criminal responsibility.
