The Alliance has criticised the government’s economic policies, highlighting its high trade deficit and, according to it, lack of sufficient support for local producers and farmers.

Through a post on the official Facebook page, the Alliance has announced that for every euro goods Kosovo exports, it imports 7.5 euros from abroad.

According to data presented by this party, during 2025, imports have been 6.1 billion euros higher than exports.

The Alliance has criticised Government for what it has described as boasting about the revenues collected by citizens, while local producers continue to face high costs and insufficient support.

) Kosovo cannot be developed by buying everything from others and leaving its production neglected, the Alliance’s response reported.

In this direction, the Alliance has re-focused its economic policies, which it says has also proposed through six-pointers aimed at supporting local production and developing the economy.

Among the proposals cited are increased energy production in the country, American gas use and the creation of new energy capacities.

Also, the Alliance has cited lifting property taxes for farmers and facilitating the VAT burden for small businesses.
