Ferizaj activists have announced that today, on October 29th, they will organise protests for Arlinda Zekaj and seek institutional responsibility for cases of violence against women.

The protest will start at 12:00 from the Ferizaj municipality square, while the march will continue towards the Centre for Social Affairs, Police, Prosecutor and Court.

Through this organisation, activists aim to convey concrete requirements for responsible institutions, demanding accountability for actions and institutional inactions, as well as measures to prevent similar tragedies.

It is not enough to express regret after losing a woman’s life. We must seek accounts for failures, responsibility for actions and inactions, and concrete measures for such tragedies not repeated, says the activist announcement.

They have called on citizens to join the protest and seek justice and responsibility from institutions. /Telegraphy/
