Seven cases of domestic violence have been reported to the Kosovo Police during October 30th and October 31st in Pristina, Podujevo, the Year, Pec and Decani.
According to the 24-hour police report, cases include physical and psychic violence, the beating and disrespect of judicial decisions. Among the victims are wives and family members, while in some cases suspects have been arrested and sent to the prosecutor’s decision.
In Pristina, a person has been arrested after allegedly drunkly exercising psychic violence against his wife, insulting her in various words. On another occasion, a parent has been hurt and offended by his son after a disagreement over the sale of a pool cleaning device. The suspect in this case has not yet been encountered by police.
In Podujevo, a Albanian citizen has been arrested after allegedly physically attacking his wife’s sister. In the meantime, in the year, a person has been arrested under suspicion that he had landed his father after a disagreement.
The most serious case was reported in Pec, where a woman allegedly faced constant physical and psychic violence from her husband while she was also in bed. During the raid on the suspect’s house, police have seized a pistol, two rounds, 252 rounds and a currency permit for weapons. The suspects have been arrested, but only one has been sent to maintenance, while the other has been released in regular procedure.
Also in Pec, a person has been arrested under suspicion that he had consistently practiced psychic violence against his wife and had possessed her.
Another case has been reported in Decan, where a person was suspected of constantly exercising psychic violence against his family. According to the police, he had taken the family car without his parents ‘ knowledge, as well as an electric troll, which he had later sold. Suspect has been sent to the holding.
Meanwhile, in Pristina there has also been reported a lack of respect for a judicial decision by a former husband, who allegedly had not paid the commitment to children. After the interview, the case has continued to be investigated.
Police have announced that cases are being handled by competent organs.
