Kosovo National Institute of Public Health ( IKKPK reports to citizens that measurable cases continue to be recorded in our country, making it necessary to continue efforts to increase intelligence with inoculation and child health protection.
According to IKSC data, during April 16th, November 2026 has confirmed a total of 269 fruit cases, of which 27 were registered during the past week.
Fruit cases are registered to citizens, the destructive part of children, from 23 Kosovo municipalities. Over 95% of confirmed cases belong to unexcused persons with the MMR vaccine, which protects from measles, parotitis, and rubola possibly, says the report.
IK The KPS points out that these data stress the importance of vaculation as the primary measure for preventing disease and limiting its spread.
Fruth is a highly infectious disease that can cause serious complications, especially among young children. Long – term vaccine protects children from this disease and helps to protect the community, including babies and individuals who, for health reasons, cannot be vaccinated.
In addition to the vaccine according to the regular Inoculation Calendar, the IKPK, in collaboration with health institutions, is continuing the supplementary vaccine (catch-up) for children left unaccompanied or not obtained both pre-priced doses, it is said further.
IK The KPS points out that during this year, over 4,006 children of the 250-year-old group have been vaccinated through these activities.
This result is evidence of the importance of commitment by parents and health professionals to ensure child protection. I The KSF calls on all parents to control their children’s vaccination status and, if they have lost any dose, to contact the vaccine teams to complete it as soon as possible.
No child should remain vulnerable because of delayed or unfinished vaccines.
