Health Minister Arben Vitita has stated in the Kosovo Assembly that coverage of expenditures for war disabilities’ protections has been institutionalised, ensuring full subsidisation for this category.
The year in the Assembly has said that by 2024, coverage of the costs for prosthetics has not functioned institutionalally and has been dependent on the will of governments to allocate funds.

According to him, this has caused the disabled to face difficulties covering these expenses.
He has stressed that, through co-operation with war-related organisations and associations, in particular with organisations representing war veterans and disabled people, a system has been created that regulates this process through administrative instruction and a Government decision.
By 2024, the coverage of prosthetics has occurred in a more or less non-institute way, which has often been in the will of governments to share or split funds, Vitia has declared.
And they’ve often encountered trouble, and for this reason the cooperation of war-free associations, in particular with the organization of veterans and disabled war, we’ve made a system where we institutionalized this process and now not even a disabled war, I repeat, whether civilian or soldier, there’s no chance of not responding with full subvention, he has declared.
