Fabian Anais Cobos Vega has been brought today to the Foundation Court in Pristina, the Special Department where she is being tried on charges of organised crime in connection with human trafficking.
The Special Prosecutor tasked him with leading role in a group that allegedly recruited girls from Latin America and brought them to Kosovo for sexual exploitation.
According to the indictment filed on 26 August 2025, Vega and co-accused Batuhan Beyoglu, in co-operation with other people, allegedly organised the recruiting, transportation and shelter of the injured. The prosecution claims that Vega led and supervised the group’s activities.
The girls, according to the Prosecutor’s File, arrived at Tirana Airport and then traveled to Pristina, where they were placed in residences. It was allegedly exploited for prostitution, while contact with customers was organized through communication applications.
Network organisers allegedly received over 50 percent of their income from sexual services. Two injured people have declared before the investigative bodies that they had also faced physical violence because they had not respected the group’s rules.
The related investigation also mentions Gary Hoxha, son of journalist from Albania Artan Hoxha. His defence has rejected the allegations, claiming the prosecution has not presented concrete evidence linking him directly to the alleged activity.
