Security Science Professor Avni Islami has accused Serbia of involvement in the armed attack on Banjska and of attacking Iber-Lepenci Canal.

In a response following the UN Security Council meeting, Islam has criticised Serbia’s Foreign Minister Marko Djurovic for efforts, according to him, to downplay the attack in Banjska and present it as an isolated incident.

Islam has stressed that the weapons confiscated at the scene, produced in Serbian military factories, raise questions about Djuric’s claims that Serbia’s state institutions have not been involved in the event.

He has said the attack on Banjska and the one on the Iber-Lepenci Canal meet the conditions to be described as terrorist acts, claiming that the Serbian state is behind them with its mechanisms.
