He has indicated that, based on preliminary assessments from a voting sample, the Student List is expected to win between 135 and 140 mandates, while its list of about 105.

In Serbia’s Parliament, which has a total of 250 seats, at least 126 MPs are needed for the parliamentary majority.

According to figures submitted by Vucic, his list has received around 1.72 million votes, while the Student List is approximately 2.2 million votes.

However, he has stressed that these are preliminary assessments and that final results have not yet been published.

Accepting the defeat comes after high turnout of citizens in elections and reporting irregularities during the voting process.

According to the Organization CRTA had voted 67.8 percent of citizens until 7: 00 p.m., compared with 55.5 percent in the 2023 elections.

The Student List, supported by the protest movement against power, was Vuciki’s main opponent in the election.

The final division of the mandates will be determined after counting votes and publishing official results by the Republican Election Commission.
