In her reaction, V LEN rejects the presentation of the Kumanovo Battle as the fulfillment of the so-called Kosovo commitment, assessing that such statements promote nationalist narrava and violate relations in the region.
According to the VLEN, Belgrade’s official policy should be distanced from, as this party, hegemonic thinking, which links it to armed conflicts and continued instability in the Balkans.

Party response includes Minister Ivan Stoilkovic, whose participation in Zebernjak manifestation V LEN considers it inappropriate. According to this party, an official exercising office in the institutions of northern Macedonia should protect the interests and dignity of the state, rather than participate in activities that, according to her, promote the nationalist agenda of another state.
VLEN stresses that Northern Macedonia should not serve as a platform for historical and political claims that could fuel tensions in the region.
In the outcome of the response, this party expresses itself against the use of history as an instrument for promoting nationalism, stressing that it will not hold back in the face of actions it considers provocative and that, according to it, are at risk of violating stability and coexistence in the country and the region.
