Albania has formalised its participation in the International Stabilisation Force ( The ISF) in Gaza, through the signing of the relevant agreement at a ceremony held at the Albanian Army Staff General in Tirana.
The deal was signed by Albania’s Chief of General Staff Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kigg, and International Stabilisation Force Commander General Jasper Jeffers.

Albanian Defence Minister Ermal Nufi also attended the ceremony, as did Ambassador of the United States of America to Tirana Eric Wendt.
Through a response to social networks, Minister Nufi stressed Albania’s commitment to contributing to international efforts to establish peace and ensure security in Gaza.
As a founding member of the Peace Board, Albania reaffirms its commitment to contributing to international efforts to establish peace, ensure security and create conditions for a stable stability in Gaza, Nufi said.
Signing the agreement formalises Albania’s participation in this international initiative, which aims to contribute to the stabilisation of the security situation in Gaza.
