The Red Days are going through a difficult time in the 2026/27 season, while the poor results have increased pressure on Coach Carrick. According to data presented in the report, Unitedi ranks 13th at Premier League, with seven points collected in seven matches.

However, McCarty, who used to work as Manchester United helper during the time of Eric Ten Hagg, thinks the club should give Carrick time and support to improve the situation.

Michael did a good job at the end of last season. They have to support him, trust him and give him what he wants. Players respond well to him and play well under his direction, McCarty has declared McCathy to Radio Report.

However, if club leaders decide to make changes on the bench, the current Paris coach Saint-Germainin, Louis Enrice, would be his favorite choice.

For me, the coach I’d like to see at Manchester United is Louis Enrique. But he won’t leave the SPG. In his country, it would be crazy to leave what is being built there to come to Manchester Unitedi.

McCarty has stressed that one of United United’s major problems over the years is related to the lack of quality reinforcements and the difficulties of maintaining the continuation from one season to another.

According to him, the club should improve the transfer strategy and bring in footballers who increase competition within the team.

You should recruit better and add quality to a team that’s done well. Every time some stability is created, the following season lacks the right players to increase competition and strengthen the team, McCarty has said.

He has added that Manchester Unitedi should not enjoy the successes achieved, but must constantly invest to upgrade the team level.

Despite the pressure, Carrick is expected to continue at the top of the team, which will face Bournemoth under Premier League on Sunday.
