Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has reacted to the preliminary outcome of the Albanian coalition in Serbia’s parliamentary elections, saying the political union of Albanians is turning into the most powerful parliamentary representation.
Kurti has indicated that, according to preliminary results, the coalition has received 27.230 votes in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja, which, with the 35 per cent increase of the national minority electoral coffiti, is estimated to be the equivalent of 36,761 votes for the division of mandates.

He has said the coalition has two mandates designed in Serbia’s Parliament, while the race for the third term remains open.
Kurti has commented on the results of other political subjects in Serbia, citing Aleksandar Vuciq’s admission of defeat in front of the Student List and the difficulties of Ivica Dacic’s list, which, according to preliminary projections, remains below the 3 per cent election threshold.
Kurti has congratulated Albanian citizens and political subjects in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja on the union that, according to him, enabled this result.
