The founder of the Humanitarian Law Fund in Serbia, Natasa Ka persecuted, has commented on Aleksandar Vuciqi’s defeat in the 25 October parliamentary elections, sharply criticising his speech following the results, especially statements on Kosovo.

He said that in a calm tone, as if he were the most responsible politician in the world. He is a person who knows how to act, to appear responsiblely, but then began to speak that these are handing over Kosovo, as if Kosovo were something Serbia decides for, has declared persecution.

According to her, Vuciq launched the speech as an international politician who concedes defeat, but ended it with insulting language and accusations against opponents.

He began as a global politician, accepting defeat. He was about to go and say hi and kiss all the students, and it is ironic.

She has also noted that during her speech after the election loss, she mentioned only her name, ironically stating that her policy had won.

I congratulate Natasa Katrui, her politics won, Vuciq claimed.

According to Ka persecuted, mentioning her name was part of Vuciqi’s strategy to link the student movement to its positions for war crimes, genocide in Srebrenica and Serbia’s responsibility for the past.

She has stressed that Vuciq has tried to create the impression that students support her positions for Srebrenica, Ratko Mladic and The Hague Tribunal, which clash with the nationalist narrator promoted by the current power.

Speaking of political changes in Serbia, he has persecuted that the victory of the Student List may affect improving relations with neighbouring countries, though it remains unclear how far the political transformation will go.

And we don’t know the transformational potential of this Student List, how far it will go and what its borders are. I would say it is certain that the tone against neighbours will change and that it will certainly be more peaceful in Bosnia and Herzegovina, she has declared.

According to the persecution, changing power in Belgrade could also limit the political influence Milorad Dodik had during Vuciqi’s rule.

She has stressed that the future Serbian government will face significant international obligations, including the Kosovo issue, European integration and facing the past.

It has voiced hope that political change will create opportunities for strengthening rule of law, fighting corruption and reforming institutions.

However, it has warned that Serbia faces deep social problems, especially in the media sector, which it has described as corrupt and influenced by political power.

Everything’s corrupt, everything’s paid. There’s nothing honest about it. The money caused almost all the media, except for two or three of them, to support Vucicin, has declared persecution.

According to her, the media situation reflects the broader problems of Serbian society, where even a part of the academic community has supported without opposition the power.

In the end, it has been persecuted that Serbia needs not only political change but also a profound social and cultural transformation.

We have become a neglected, uneducated, primitive society. Look at that Twitter, it’s terrible how many attacks there are. I have received thousands and thousands of terrible messages and wonder how they will disappear. Who will reform this society? /Telegraphy.
