According to LaPresse, about 2,000 attended the protest in Leipzig, while several hundred participants were registered in Dresden.

The demonstration was also organised in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Mainc, and Kaln, including a large number of cities across the country.

In the capital, Berlin, hundreds of protesters gathered in front of Brandenburg Gate. For the development of the rally, police had prepared a strengthened security plan, with about 500 additional effectives, even due to the outcome of protests with Halloween night celebrations.

The movement aims to make the new generation’s demands towards improving economic conditions, boosting investments in education and climate policies, as well as rejecting obligation for military service.
