Pristina University and Kosovo’s Good Will Ambassador to the International Commission for Human Rights, Elvana Shala, have signed memorandums of co-operation for promoting inclusive education.

The campaign, equal education and equal future, aims to provide equal access and access to education for all, with particular emphasis on marginalized categories.

General education and equal access to education are essential to eliminating discrimination, especially toward children from non-most communities.

Deputy Education Minister Muheddin Nushi told RTK that institutions are engaged through scholarships for students and support of organisations promoting education, with the aim of preventing school dropout.

We are oriented so that we can all have fair, equal access and no one should be deprived of the right to be educated. No one should be deprived of the right to have teaching tools that everyone needs, said Muhedin Nushi, deputy minister of education.

On this issue, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Pristina University and Kosovo’s Good Will Ambassador to the International Commission for Human Rights, Elvana Shala.

Shala announced that the memorandum is aimed at establishing a joint co-operation framework for the implementation and promotion of the campaign equal education .

We will try to create mechanisms together with university so that each student can have equal access to education, despite limited capacity, ethnicity or gender, Elvana Shala, Kosovo Good Will Ambassador for IHRC, said.
