Regarding auditing the government’s 2025 state budget report, The EC has estimated that the quality of financial reporting has marked growth over the years and is in line with standards and legal framework for reporting. Based on the results, the National Audition Office has provided qualified opinion that in addition to the impact of issues recorded on the basis for qualified opinion, the financial report presents a fair and true view in all aspects of material in line with the relevant framework of financial reporting. While improvements are observed year-on-year, audit results show that shortcomings still exist in both aspects of compliance with the legal framework and in other aspects of meeting targets in terms of improving citizens’ lives, she stressed.
