Aston Martin presents Valhalla Spider, the hybrid supermachine that reaches 349 km/h with an open roof

Aston Martin introduced Valhalla Spider, the roofless version of the mid – motored hybrid supermachine, which was released earlier this year. The new model develops 1,064 horsepower and, according to the company, achieves the maximum speed of 349 km/h, even with an open roof.

Valhalla Spider will be presented to the public this weekend at Concours at Wynn, Las Vegas. Surrenders to customers are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027, while the price has not yet been disclosed.

Like the Coupé version, Spider combines a V8 4.0-liter engine with two turbos with three electric engines. The hybrid system produces a total of 1,064 horsepower and 1,100 Nm twirling pairs, while power spreads on all four wheels, it transmits Telegrafi.

The maximum speed of 349 km/h is the same as that of the Copeé version. To preserve stability at high speed, the car has been equipped with active aerodynamics and special guidance control systems, also designed for track use.

The main difference is the roof for which buyers can choose between a cloth coat that is removed and a solid alternative roof of carbon fiber. With the cloth roof set up, speed limits 200 km/h, while the carbon fiber roof allows for the maximum speed of 349 km/h.

When the car is used without a roof, a deflector helps limit air turbulence in the cabin. When no longer needed, it is folded and placed in special storage spaces inside the vehicle. Aston Martin has also adapted some elements of aerodynamics and stability systems to take into account the changes between roofing and without it.

The Spider Valhalla marks a innovation for the British company, as it is its first motor production supermath in the middle and open cabin. It uses the same carbon – fiber structure as Cope, which helps reduce weight and ensure the rigidity needed for high performance.

The model also preserves the typical carbon – fiber doors that open up while small changes have been made to facilitate the entrance and exit of the cabin. A new carbon fiber tour seat is offered as standard equipment. The buyers can also choose for free the most sporty carbon fiber seat used in the Copé version.

Aston Martin’s executive director, Adrian Hallmark, said that Spider combines daily usage with the driving skills on the track, adding the experience of driving with open roofs.

High speed or low. In the rain or the sun. The roof or the roof. On the street or on the runway. The Spider Valhalla meets all the demands, Hallmark said.

Aston Martin Valhalla Spider is expected to reach the customers in the third quarter of 2027. The company has not yet published the price, but the model will be positioned along with the Copé version as another high-ematrical alternative to its range. /Telegraphy/
