At 3: 00 a.m. on Sunday (October 25th), the clock clock clocks will be back 60 minutes later, marking the passage from summer to winter. This change is made every year on the last Sunday of October, when the hour runs from three o’clock to 2:00.
In Europe, the seasonal change of the clock was determined by a directive in 1980, which was implemented in 1981. For years, the European Union has discussed the possibility of removing this system.
In 2019, the European Parliament supported the proposal to end the seasonal change of the clock, but implementation requires a joint attitude of member states. So far, a final agreement has not been reached on the issue.
