An attack by Russian drone has hit the main railway station in the central Ukrainian town of Dnipro, leaving 15 people dead and injured 10 others.
The attack occurred Thursday morning at the time when citizens were waiting to board the train. This is another attack in a series of Russian shocks to the transport and energy infrastructure in Ukraine, which have caused casualties among civilians.

According to Ukrainian authorities, at least 19 people, including two 15-year-old girls, were killed in Thursday’s attacks in different parts of the country.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky named the attack in Dnipro as a deliberate blow to civilians.
These are intentional attacks on civilians, committed with a brutality, and the Russians are taking them at exactly when the humanitarian operation is under way in Oleskyà, he wrote on the X platform.
Since Tuesday, Russia and Ukraine have been respecting a ceasefire in the southern region of Kherson, mediating by the first US lady, Melanie Trump, with the goal of providing emergency humanitarian aid to the Russian occupation town of Olesky.
Zelensky said Russia’s actions show it wants to continue the war, while calling on international allies to pressure Moscow.
Even European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen reacted after the attack, saying she was shocked by what she described as a meaningless and indiscriminately significant attack on Dnepro.
We should do everything in our power to pressure the aggressors, she wrote on X.
Earlier, Zelensky had named the attack terrible, demanding additional sanctions to prevent similar Russian attacks.
